I need a fabric-based project to work on. Working with metal and vinyl and fiber clay is fun and all (HA HA HA yeeeeaaah...), but I miss sewing stuff and making regular fabric costumes. I did this yesterday and it's nearly finished. Not movie-based, but sort of movie inspired, designed to be similar to the grey sash Elrond wears in the "Welcome to Rivendell, Frodo Baggins" scene. I bought this fabric in Tokyo and it was painfully expensive. Expensive meaning it was sold per 10 cm rather than meter/yard, making this sash almost ( Read more... )
